About the locations

Crescent Island is a private Wildlife Sanctuary on the eastern side of Lake Naivasha. The island is a submerged rim of a volcanic crater and here, you can walk among the yellow barked "fever trees"
and the wildlife in a tranquil environment. Animals you may see are giraffe, zebra, Thompson's and Grant's gazelles, waterbuck, eland, and a great many bird species. The huge fish eagle with it's distinctive cry is common to the area. You can also enjoy a boat ride and catch a hippo with your camera.

Hells Gate National park was once the outlet for the prehistoric freshwater. The park provides a variety of wildlife, unusual flora and many species of birds and is one of the two only Kenyan parks where climbing, walking and biking are allowed. For climbers you can attempt to climb FISCHER TOWER which is a 25 meters (75 ft) high rocky tower formed by semi-molten rock forced to a fissure, cooling and solidifying as it extruded
