I went out to a national park the other day and those places can be tricky its as if animals dont want to be seen sometimes. So though i hate the whole idea of animals being caged, i could not resit the urge to just see one up close and learn their stories so i went to Nairobi National park. For me it was worth the visit. most of those animals would never survive if it wasnt for where they are kept.
i love birds and this one really attracted me it was so cute. they called it the african crowned bird and i can just see the pride when it stands there.
this little guy was really cute. He belongs to the cat family just that i could not take him home with me. i totally admired the guts in this guy..personally i would not want to be near a lion after i saw how they at their share of lunch.
they called him the spotted hyena who happens to be the biggest guy they had around and very restless. funny enough i never thought me and a hyena would ever hit it off but we did. it felt nice

and there i am just being mom to my little girls. Dont you just love how kids find fun in everything?
i was informed that this little guy grows up to 6 feet long. in my opinion, let it remain cute in the wild. those big teeth and sly eyes are enough to convince me i need know no more.
