Whether you are looking for overnight camping, or a day trip our forest camping is perfect for a ...‘get away from it all’ break, providing the opportunity to be in the midst of nature and experience everything the Forest has to offer.

This is a lush indigenous forest at the foothills of Mt. Kenya with Azure pools glistening at the bottom of waterfalls with 200 year old trees stretching into the canopy supporting a rich variety of bird and animal life. The forest is also a vital corridor that links the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy to Mount Kenya, and one which elephants have been using for centuries.

There are many activities to do when in the forest. You will discover

The canopy walkway which is a 40 ft. high aerial bridge of wire mesh and cables meandering through the tree canopy and extending 450 meters long. It also has a walkway ending at a wooden platform 30ft. high, where you can relax and enjoy a view of the river from this elevated vantage point and enjoy the Elephants and buffaloes which frequently come here to drink and wallow.
Campsites near flowing water where you can enjoy camping out in the wilds of the forest. Equipped with clean running water, a toilet and a bathroom, well trained guides who can take you on informative and fun filled camping that must be always    accompanied by an armed ranger.
  - Minor grade rock climbing sites and abseiling walls for the adventurer.

- -   A series of waterfalls and pools with crystal clear water. The beauty of these natural sites are a wonder to see and enjoy.
